Crookedstar's Promise
- Lilystem is a RiverClan warrior. She stares expectantly from under the willow in the RiverClan camp when a patrol returns from retaking Sunningrocks.
Bluestar's Prophecy
- When a ThunderClan patrol comes to RiverClan to claim rights to Sunningrocks, Lilystem exits the nursery when her kit calls for her to look. She looks at the patrol in dismay until Ottersplash reassures her the ThunderClan cats are there to talk to Hailstar. Lilystem nods, and wraps her tail protectively around her kit as she stays out to watch.
Leopardstar's Honor
- Lilystem is the mother of Heavykit and Shadekit. When Heavykit and Shadekit protest not being able to help Emberkit and Mosskit clean the elders' den, Lilystem purrs that Heavykit and Shadekit will not be apprentices for a couple moons yet, and she wraps her tail protectively around her kits. Shadekit protests that it is not fair, and moves out of reach of Lilystem's tail.

Continuity

- Originally, Lilystem was planned to be Crookedkit and Oakkit's mother, as evident in the allegiances of Bluestar's Prophecy.[2] However, this was changed due to timeline errors as established in Bluestar's Prophecy.[5]
