Author statements

Mistakes
- In the hardbound printed edition of River, Frostdawn was described with white-and-brown fur,[1] but this appears to have been fixed in the digital edition.[7]
- There is a discrepancy on Frostdawn's eye color. The allegiances of Thunder,[8] the cover of Wind,[9] the cover of Star,[10] and the Warrior Cats website depict Frostdawn as having blue eyes,[11] though she is depicted with green eyes on the cover of Shadow,[12] and an undecipherable color on the cover of River.[13]
- When she recalls Cloudstar was a leader, she mentions that she has never met a leader she had only heard about,[14] but in River she meets Leopardstar, who she remembers being only told stories about, making Leopardstar a leader she has only heard of.[15] Furthermore, she does not recognize Leopardstar in Star.[16][17]
- She is mistakenly called a RiverClan warrior.[18] This error is fixed in the paperback edition, with Frostpaw calling herself a RiverClan cat instead.[19]
- She says that she went to WindClan because she suspected a RiverClan cat had tried to kill her.[20] However, she was attacked on her way to WindClan,[21] and the actual reason she went there is because she wanted to tell Whistlepaw about her vision of Reedwhisker being killed.[22]
- She thinks that she had never heard of meditation.[23] However, in Ivypool's Heart, Icewing indicates that the older RiverClan cats meditate.[24]
- She refers to a monster as a "van" despite having no way of knowing this and referring to it as a monster before and after this.[25]
