In Thunder, Waffle introduces Firefly and Chalk to Nightheart and Frostpaw. Chalk explains how they have heard the stories of Riverstar from their ancestors. Nightheart later spots him bringing a rat to Firefly, and he later entwines his tail with Firefly's.
